Michael jackson tickets sold on ebay - where do i stand?
i sold 2 tickets on ebay prior to his death for 750 for a friend.after jacko's death, ebay said sellers had to refund buyers but i didnt hear anything from them until now.the buyers have just phoned and said they're taking me to court because i havent refunded them i literally havent heard anything since the sale. my friend, unbeknown to me, had a small amount of contact with them about 4 months ago saying that he couldnt afford to pay them the whole amount and would pay a partial refund in small amounts.where do i stand as the seller? what if my friend cant pay them back?i'm a university student, what would happen if they take me to court? i have no money thanks in advance
Can someone explain in easy terms what are the differences between private and business selling on Ebay?
I have sold quite a few bits lately and I am being asked to upgrade to a business account. I would like to know if I register as a business will I have to pay more insertion fees and final value fees? Also how much can I earn as a business on Ebay without having to pay income tax on my sales? Any help that anyone can give me would be very useful and very much appreciated.

Is it cool to sell memorabilia associated with the German army and SS from WWII? I responded to a Q here a few days ago and was really lit into, and called uneducated individual shouting from a soapbox for my answer. Upon reflecting, " maybe" I was too passionate in regards to my own personal opinion. SO, let me ask, is it moral to sell items that are associated with that dark time in history?? How to change shipping cost while selling on eBay?
I am about to make a " Buy it now" selling on eBay. However the fee that I am required to pay eBay is according to the amount i set the " Buy it now" to. In order to save money on my part, I want to make the shipping cost high and keep the " Buy it now" price low. I've seen several people on eBay do this before. How do they do this?eBay only lets me set a maximum of $5 when putting in shipping costs. I want to make the shipping cost around $100.
